What is included in the One-Off Fixed Repair Charge?
Faults that are not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, or out-with the warranty period, will incur a cost which we call the One-Off Fixed Repair Charge, this is payable upfront.
Our Appliance Technicians guarantee to phone you within 48 hours of the repair being reported to discuss the fault, and schedule a visit for the repair.
The One-Off Fixed Repair Charge covers our technician's labour, travel, and overall time. If your repair requires numerous visits then this will be covered with the fixed fee. We do not charge per visit.
Our rates are dependent on area, due to travel time/cost:
- Lerwick £65
- Gulberwick/Quarff/Scalloway/Tingwall £75
- The rest of Shetland Mainland £85
- Bressay £85
- Yell/Whalsay £95
- Unst/Fetlar £105
Please note these fixed rates are for appliances that have been purchased from us, and we offer reduced rates for customer loyalty. If your product was purchased from another retailer, then please contact us for your fixed rate.
Spare parts will be sourced and costed in addition, as and when required. We will provide you with a quote before ordering the spare parts. The spare parts will be billed to you after the repair is complete.
