GR Contracting carried out the full electrical works on the site. This included a full wiring of the amenity building; providing power to the two wigwams; and providing power via steel wire armour for five pillars for the caravan hook ups.
Scalloway Caravan Park
We were delighted to work with Scalloway Community Development Company on the development of the new Scalloway Caravan Park at Asta. The park opened in May 2023 with ten caravan pitches, two wigwams and numerous camping pitches.
We carried out the full electrical works on the site. This included a full wiring of the amenity building (includes a small kitchen area and laundry); providing power to the two wigwams; and providing power via steel wire armour for five pillars for the caravan hook ups.
We were contracted on behalf of the main contractor, Shetland Plant. We also worked alongside E&H Building Contractors and Malcolmson Architects.
The Scalloway Caravan Park is situated in a brilliant location and offers great facilities to tourists and locals. It’s easy to see the park will be popular, we look forward to watching it grow in years to come.
