The Brief
Our new-build customer had a simple brief. Key things they wanted were: an industrial style; a dark kitchen with accents of wood; tall units to the ceiling; and an island.
The Solution
Flooded with natural light, this open-plan room is perfect for incorporating dark colours. The black concrete door adds a distinct industrial touch, while the vintage oak bar top provides a contrasting texture that maintains the industrial vibe.
We enjoyed finding a solution to a common issue – our customers are of varying heights. The island design evolved providing a two-height solution, this allows a practical prep surface tailored to each customer to accommodate their various tasks.
The simple layout of this kitchen offers great functionality by ensuring everything is within easy reach. With the hob located on the island, you can easily interact with guests or keep an eye on the bairns while taking in the view.
